Search Engine Complication

My web server service techs are working on this problem, but I was just
wondering if anybody here might have run into this: I added a FP default
Search Function to my web site today and it works just fine when the browser
is looking at my web site directly on my service company's web address
(http://ofgc.bizland.com) but, not when it is looking at my domain name
http://www.ofgc.net... Any ideas???

http://www.ofgc.net/_vti_bin/shtml.exe/index.html - shows up in my browser's
URL address line. And, this is the error display

FrontPage Error.

User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's system log for more details.

Thanks in advance,

Palmer Moore

You really need to have a static IP address account, not a subdomain account with domain pointing,
as you will have problem using any FP run-time components.

Thanks so much for your response, Thomas. Yep - that cute little
sub"whatever" costs me money every, too. I just tried to have a name easier
to remember - and, out "cuted" myself.

I've just added a little disclaimer before the Search function advising my
visitors to "click here to log back on" using the right URL...

As it turns out, the Search function isn't really all that powerful, anyway.
It doesn't appear that it actually looks for "phrases." It looks for any
occurance of any word in the phrase. And, the standard trick of putting
quotation marks around a multi-word phrase doesn't work, either... arg...

Thanks, again,

Palmer
