Search for contacts created in last 2 months

I've successfully created some custom address book views in the past and now I want to create one that will find contacts I've added (created) in the last two months. No matter how I try this, the results list gives me every contact I have. I want to do this in order to find the newest contacts, create cards on the desktop, and pull those into Apple's Address Book. (I know I can use Sync services, but it messes up some stuff in Address Book that needs to be set a certain way in order to play nice with programs that rely on a certain structure.)

Any thoughts? Am I overlooking something incredibly easy?

Try:
Click on "Address Book" in your Folder bar. Then "Edit - Advanced Search".

Then click on "Item Contains" drop down box, and scroll down to "Date
Created" or "Date modified".

You'll now have several pre-seleted date options, or you can create your
own.

Too bad for Sync services, as finally after all the various patches by both
MS and Apple it works rather nicely :)

This appears to be working fine for me when using:

Match if all criteria are met
Date Created Within Last 2 Months

I don't use sync services and wonder if that can alter the creation date
of the contact records.

Unfortunately, after looking at the AppleScript dictionary and the cache
files created for Spotlight, I can't see any way to read the actual
creation date. Only the modification date is available.

The creation date could also be affected (possibly) if you've recently
rebuilt your Entourage Database or copied your contacts.
