This may actually be a problem with my Exchange 2000 database but I
thought I would start here. I am running Exchange 2000 SP3 with the
most current SP rollup. I have tryied this with both Outlook 2000 and
Outlook 2003 and have had the same results.
I have a mailbox that is catching all email from my active mailbox
store. I have used the "Archive all message sent or received by
mailboxes on this store" to archive email to the mailbox that I am
having trouble with. This mailbox is also on a seperate store.
Now here is the odd behavior. Using Outlooks Advanced Find to search
the Archive mailbox I enter my search text and select "frequently-used
text fields". The serch finds text in email items for todays date. If
the message was from a previous date it is not found.
With more experimentation I discovered that, for the previous days if
the search text was in the subject line and I searched for just subject
line, the message item was found. So the problem seems to be with text
in the message body and only after a day goes by.
I have tryed turning off the scheduled maintanence on teh store, but
the problem is still there.
Does anyone have and idea about what is happening and how I might fix
the problem?
