Search not finding all items...anybody know why?

I'm doing a simple search of my Inbox looking for all email where my
address, [email protected], appears in the "to" header.

But not all of them show up. Any idea why? I can't believe that search
doesn't work to *that* extent!

NONE of my search functions are working. I can't find anything.
Does it need to be indexed or something?
Using latest 2004
