Searching for beginning/end of table cell

Jon

I know how to use search and replace to find a paragraph mark (^p). Is there
an equivalent to find the beginning and end of a table cell?

End of cell marker is James Bond: ^007. There's no beginning of cell marker.
What are you actually trying to do?

Thanks for your reply.

Firstly, sorry for posting in the wrong group - I thought I'd chosen Word
General rather than Word VBA General.

I was trying to remove a space characters before and after the contents of
each cell.

Perhaps I need to use VBA to do this, so maybe I have posted into the right
group!

Hi Jon,

there is an odd feature (or bug).

If you center a cell [Ctrl e], the text will be trimmed.
Left align it afterwards.

Does not apply if the cell contains paragraph marks,
and maybe in some cases more.

If you need a programmtic solution, ask again.
