Securing DB from unapproved linkers/importers

Hi All

Is it possible to limit the people who can link to a

back-end mdb application to people on a corporate work
group file.

As it is, to enable the front ends to work, I seem to be
allowing any access mdb or perhaps even excel to import or
link to the back end tables.

Any help very gratefully appreciated
