Hi, Salim.

Then you will need to apply user-level security. Read and study the
Security FAQ on the following Web page:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=/support/access/content/secfaq.asp

parent/child...what happend access 2003 has allowed to delete any kind

Access 2003 is not to blame. This feature is available in every version of
Access, but relational integrity _must_ be enforced to prevent related
records or tables from being deleted.

Improperly designed databases will result in data integrity issues, as you
have found. The easiest way for this to happen is to split the database into
a front end (queries, forms, modules, et cetera) and a back end (tables and
relationships), then applying the table relationships in the front end
instead of the back end. Relational integrity cannot be enforced on remote
tables, but only on tables located in the current database.

You need to apply user-level security which is far from being a trivial
task. See my web site for a link to the MS Access FAQ on security and a
step-by-step example.

Remember to work on COPIES of your files.
