Select data in a cell before a coma

I am creating a data base with client’s addresses. Separate information
within a cell. Currently I have the street address and the city state and zip
all in one field. I would like to pull the street address and name out and
create another field.

Current format is: 27071 Aliso Creek Rd # 150, Aliso Viejo, CA 949-360-6200

Any suggestions

Thanks

Hi

personally i would use text to columns for this - but to make it easier you
need to remove the space after the comma first.

Select your addresses and choose edit / replace to find a comma followed by
a space
and replace with just a comma
now make sure you have a couple of blank columns to the right of your data
for it to be split into
select the column of data
choose data / text to columns
choose delimited
untick tab, tick comma
press FINISH

(test this first on a copy of your data)

Hope this helps
Cheers
