Selfcert unable to create certificate

My certificate seemed to stop working when I changed passwords, so I tried to create a new one, but selfcert.exe responds with: "An error occurred during certificate creation. Selfcert was unable to create your certificate." My VBA macros in Outlook no longer work, which is a big problem.

Anyone have a solution for this problem???
