Send and Receive grayed out

Email Client: pop

After installation of the package, the Entourage 2008 does not seem to work- the Send / Receive button on the top menu is grayed out and inactive. What could be the issue? I'd appreciate some help.

probably because you have only one mail account set up and that is an
Exchange account. This doesn't use the S&R schedule for talking to the
server.

Did you ˆ include this account in Send & Receive schedule?
