Hello,

I have been used to the "Send later" button places the message in the Drafts
folder, not to be sent until I am actually sending it. It worked like this
for atleast half a year.

But suddenly now, i notice the "Send later" button places the message in the
Outbox folder, so the message gets sent a few minutes later anyway. Whats
the point in this??

I guess it must have changed during an update? I dont use the feature
frequently, so i am not sure exactly when the behaviour changed. but i
thought it was a way to stove messages until they were finished (like the PC
Outlook version has a "Save as a draft")

The really BAD thing is, since this has changed i guess i have sent people
alot of half written emails. My way of working has been to put unfinished
emails in Drafts. Now they all have been sent! BAD BAD ENTOURAGE.

Is there a way to put it back to the Drafts function?

Hi,
are you really, really sure about your claim that hitting "Send later" would
place a message in the Drafts folder? Entourage *always* puts messages into
the Outbox after you've clicked on "send later", because that's the purpose
of that button. The button you're looking for is the "Save as draft" button,
situated quite close to the "Send later" button on the toolbar, which may
have confused you. It's on the right to the Messenger icon, and its icon is
a yellow sheet of paper with a floppy disk in front of it. Hit that button,
and your messages will be placed in the Drafts folder.

Your memory must be failing!

Send later has always queued the message waiting in the outbox for the next
send mail schedule.

If you close a message (with saving), or use the 'save as draft' button, it
will go in the drafts folder.

It has always been this way - there has been no change.

I didnt even know there was a "Save as draft" until you pointed it out to
me! Thanks! I was used to it from Outlook where i am pretty sure it was
labeled with text aswell as icon. (Just like it appears here in the News
reader. In email messages, it is just an icon, no textlabel, and it looks
like you described)

But you could be right, i cant just ever think that i pressed that one,
especially since i didnt know about the "save as draft", i have been missing
it. The only way i can be sure is to reinstall office and that i dont want
to bother. But i am certain i have been using the "send later" up until a
few weeks ago.

Anyway the problem is solved, and only my sanity remains questionable. :)

thanks
