Send & Receive ALL (mail schedule) NOT working

In Entourage 2008, the Send & Receive All schedule is NOT working. It says it is running, but nothing happens. I can only get e-mail by manually checking (CTL-K).

I have deleted everything in WHEN and ACTION and rebuilt it, but nothing.

Any ideas?

Is this with an Exchange account? If so, the Send & Receive schedule
does nothing and you can completely disable it if you don't have any POP
or IMAP accounts. You can not adjust the timing for Exchange
synchronization.

I am having the same problem, and no its not an exchange account.
Annoyingly it was working, but then just stopped.

Is it an IMAP account? You have to specify the IMAP folders to sync in the
schedule setup.

Hi Jason!

Please start a new thread. The original poster has not returned and this
thread is really about his problem. While you may have a similar problem
it may not be quite the same as the OP.

Also, you're more likely to get your own problems address if you start
new threads.

Hi Bill -

Cannot find the new thread, and I've recently (Feb/Mar 2008) encountered the same problem with Entourage in Office for Mac 2004. The Send & Receive schedule, which previously ran just fine, no longer does.

I can see the "Schedule 'Send & Recieve' will run in 5 minutes" in the lower right hand corner count down the minutes, but after the time has alloted the message just reverts without having actually connected to the POP account. Messages wait for me to manually/positively connect.

BTW - this problem has appeared since I've started using a USB modem wireless broadband connection. Related?
