Send to Mail Recipient Command Doesn't Work

B

Good Day All!

I have a client's Office load that doesn't allow the user to use the send
to - mail recipient command.

An error message pops up stating that the command is not allowed and to
restart Outlook and Word/Excel (which ever program she's in) and try again.

Same problem happens every time.

The user can log into another system and the function works fine.

The load in question has been uninstalled and reinstalled twice with a
repair also being ran as well... all to no help.

Tried deleting Office folder under Current User in the registry as well
with no help.

Looking like the next step it to reimage the system.

Any ideas before the system gets reimaged?

Thanks!
Scott

Would be worth checking the win.ini file from within C:\windows directory. It
should contain the line MAPIX=1 under the [MAIL] heading. MAPI=1 should also
be present (though it probably already is).
