send to mail recipient wont work

Hi

Users have Office2000 but Outlook2003 (SBS 2003). When trying to send a
document from Excel and Word (send to mail recipeint) nothing happends. But
If I change default mail program to outlook express, then word and excel
opens outlookexpress nicely.

Do we have this problem because of having Outlook2003 with Office2000? If so
are there any workarounds, other than buying Office2003?

Office versions must match between Outlook and Office and there is no workaround.
