I just converted our office to Mac and it is all new to me.

Is there a way to stop and e-mail from being sent the minute it hits the Outbox. In Outlook there is a checkbox to prevent this. I could not find something similar anywhere in Entourage.

I have the settings set for sending every 10 minutes, but it doesn't wait. The second it hits the Outbox it is gone.

I assume that I could change the setting to manual for send and receive if I had to, but I am hoping there is another way.

Instead of clicking on Send Now (or pressing cmd-return), click on Send
Later (or press cmd-shift-return), in which case it will get sent on the
next Send All or Send and Receive All schedule.

Thank you so much for responding so quickly.

I am going to sound like a total dolt, however, where can one find the "send later" button.

I appreciate your pointing me to the "command-shift-return" I never would have known that either, however, is there an actual send later button that I could add to my toolbar.

I looked everywhere. I have only located the send/receive button.
