Sending a Distribution List to other users

I am trying to send a distribution list to another user and I've tried
inserting and item, and choosing the list as an attachment in RTF. The list
is sent as an attachment of a blank message with the subject as the title of
the distribution list. It does not attach and send as an actual distribution
list. Any solutions?

We use Oracle Connector and not Exchange server.

You also need to make sure that the users' addresses are marked to receive
rich-text format.
