Sending a form with drop downs

Hi All,

I have an Outlook user who needs to complete a template of a standard
form for electronic communication to ensure that all details in a
communication are sent.

We currently have a Microsoft Word Document which has form elements in
it, such as text fields and drop down menu's. A user will then fill
this in, save it, attach it to an email (Outlook) and then send the
mail to another user along with possibly another attachment. The
recipient could be using either Outlook or The First Class email
program but also possibly other email programs.

The Problem is that it has been deemed that this is too much work and a
simpler solution needs developing. Firstly I created an Outlook form
template only to find that users were not all using Outlook... grr

The next solution I tried was to email the Word document through word,
only to find that not all details were sent, mainly the drop down
details. This is where I am now stuck.

The sender must be able to select a number of fields from a drop down
and the user may have any email program.

My only idea at the moment is using HTML, but there is not much
information about this that I can find.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can sort this? It's been driving me
nuts for a good few days.

Thanks, Mark
