Sending a group email

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When I try to send a group email if one of the address is bad, it will not send the email or identify which one is incorrect. Is there a setting that will identify the bad address or that will send it to the correct addresses?

If you scroll through the list of recipients, you should see an exclamation
mark or question mark next to the bad address.

That's assuming the full list is in the email, and not in an Address Book
group.
