Sending an e-mail using Access

Because Outlook defaults to blocking .mdb files, I have a small amount of
code that changes a small database (which contains 20-30 tables) named
export.mdb to export.aaa. I would like to automate attaching and sending
this "database" to someone. The send object method will only send an access
object using outlook. Is there a way to be able to send any type of file by
providing the path and filename. Thanks in advance for any help.

SendObject uses whatever the default email system is. You can stop the
blocking by using Outlook Redemption:
