Sending email through Entourage locks up AOL recipient

All the messages either myself or others send via Entourage (or Outlook
Express) on our Mac's to fellow co-workers using AOL on PC's causes their
application to lock up. They tell us that it only happens on our emails.

I've tried using several versions of the software as well as upgrading to
the most recent versions of the software.

I've tried it on different computers with different processors and different
operating systems including OS9.

I've tried eliminating all HTML formatting.

I've tried changing the character set.

I have attachments set to AppleDouble which shouldn't make a difference
because it happens regardless of attachment or not. Just in case, though, I
tried MIME/Base64.

It happens on any account I send it through. This includes three different
ISPs.

The only time it doesn't do it is if I use webmail and avoid the Microsoft
products altogether.

I am convinced that this is an incompatibility between AOL for PC's and
Entourage for Macs. I hope that there is a fix. Until there is, our
company's AOL users are out of the loop completely.

I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this. I send to AOL users all
the time.
