Sending emails out of company comes back "Undeliverable"

I am set up for Entourage internally as POP. When I send an email to anyone
other than within my company, the email will come back "Undeliverable".
I have tried setting up through the Exchange server, but just will not seem
to work for me. My company does not support Macs, so I have limited
information available to me.

Incoming mail works fine. Any clues why sending emails internally works, and
why sending outside the company fails.

Go to Tools > Accounts, and open your email account. Click the "Advanced
Sending Options" button. Toggle the option for "SMTP server requires
authentication". You might want to try toggling the "secure connection"
option if you continue to have problems.

Otherwise, you might want to set up your computer's built in SMTP server
software, called Postfix. Here is one article online about that; I'm sure a
web search would result in further help if you need it.
