I do not want Entourage to zip the files that I send. Is there any way to tell Entourage to send them 'normal'?

Entourage>Preferences, Compose, uncheck Compress Attachments in ZIP format.

note that you cannot prevent compression of some 'package' files, like pages documents and textEdit documents. This is because these 'files' are relly 'folders', and email has no way to handle a folder of information.
these files MUST be packaged in some way - Entourage's method is to zip them. If you want to use some other form of packaging, you will have to do it manually before you attach the file.

Thank you very much. I don't know why I did not see this heretofore. This is appreciated and it was what I was looking for. Office 2004 did not have that option so I guess I was not looking for it. Have a great weekend, Barry.
