Sending mail in Entourage

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I am now trying to use Entourage on our Exchange server. Got the account set up where I can see all my mail and calendar events. However, when i try to send a message I get an error saying the account is not set up properly. Also, had to set the account up manually. Would not do the automatic setup. Any thoughts on the error message?
