Sending mail via exchange (25/ problems)

Hi,

I have Entourage X set up with POP (Roadrunner) and Exchange (Work). Pop
settings work fine (sending and receiving). Can receive exchange mail with
no problems but when I try to send via the exchange settings, my e-mails get
kicked back saying the e-mail address is not available and it shows me the
e-mail address. There is a "25/" in front of every address. Does any one
know why this is happening? I have asked our IT guy about this but he
doesn't know too much about Macs so he doesn't support it.

That's a very poor answer. That's not a Mac problem, it's a network
problem (as far as I can tell anyway).

I suspect your Exchange server does not relay (accept sending e-mails
from a machine not on the same network). You should try using the SMTP
server of your ISP for your exchange account.
