sending mail with Yahoo

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

My Mac set up my yahoo e-mail easily and I can receive with no problem - but when I try to send I get an error message "The server does not support secure connections."

Am I missing some sort of setting?

Have you tried unchecking the secure settings?
