sending multiple messages

Hey Everyone,
One of our users is experiencing problems when sending
mail. Outlook will often send out anywhere from 4-12
messages of the same content to recipients. It also sits
in his outbox, like it wasn't successfully sent until he
finds out later that the intended recipient did recieve
the message, 12 TIMES! He is using Outlook 2002 on a
Windows XP machine.

Any help or ideas anyone has would be appreciated.
