Sending Receipts to specific users automatically

I have certain people that I want to send receipts to every time I send them
an email but I don't want to have to chose that option every time because
sometimes I forget. I also don’t want to be one of those annoying people that
have the option checked to send a receipt with every single email. Is this
possible?

Also as a side note I always have problems getting around in these
discussion boards. I'll get page not found, very very long waits between
pages, etc and today I couldn't even log in using IE so I tried Firefox and
was able to log in instantly and switch from group to group like I'm on a
cable modem with no lost pages. What gives? Do these boards not like IE (yes
I know this is a MS site).

There is no way automatically to request read receipts for certain
addressees only. If you don't want to request receipts for everyone, then
you must request them manually when you want them.

Thanks Brian. I think it would be a nice feature to have. I've got some
employee's that have a problem responding to emails and if I forget to
request the recipit they "forget" to respond.

You know, even if the ability you desire were available, your recipients
would always have the option to refuse your receipt request.

dbl, don't know if you'll ever see this, but I BELIEVE (thus could be wrong)
that you can set up a form to handle this. Since I'm sure you can set up a
form that is preaddressed to a recipient, etc. I think this can be done.

Review all the forms topics in KB or O-help, then design the new mail form,
even pre-addressed to the person, if you want.

Under options for the message, check your receipt option, then save the mail
message, as set up, as a form (susiereceipt, etc.). Then when selecting
*New* you should have the option to select that form.

I've never done this, but understand this SHOULD work, if I remember
correctly from my reading of my O-2000 bible *Outlook 2000 in a Nutshell: a
Power User's Quick Reference* by Tom Syroid, et al. (which I used for
contact forms advice and help).

HTH!
