Sent Items Disappear

For some reason, after an e-mail has been sent and it is
moved to the sent items folder, it doesn't always stay
there. Go back a day later and some of the e-mails you
sent will be there, and some won't be. It seems to be
doing this at random.

We're utilizing Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2000 Post SP3
Rollup on the backend. The cache exchange feature is
also being used if that makes a difference. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
