I'm using Outlook 2002 SP-2 on a windows XP system and am having trouble getting my Sent Items folder to be auto-archived. All my other directories work fine (either using my default AA settings or using the customized ones I have set for that directory), but no matter what settings I use for the Sent Items folder, they never get archived. Basically no matter what I set in the auto-archive tab I get the following behavior (regardless of when my last autoarchive ran):
Sent Items keeps only copies of messages that I have sent in the last month.
All older messages vanish ( there is a Sent Items Folder in my "Archive Folders", but there is nothing in it)
I currently have the auto archive settings set to archive only messages older than 6 months and to use the default AA folder, but message still vanish if they are older than a month and they never get archived unless I take the time to manually copy the messages.
