Sent Items window displays "lower items" rather than top of list

Sent Items window displays list of messages as though it has scrolled
several items down the list. I have it set to arrange Sent Items by
"Sent". This problem started when I upgraded to Office 2004 from
previous version, including Entourage.

Lewis,

You can correct this bug (it's a bug, there's no other way of
describing it) by doing the completely obvious and totally intuitive
step of clicking on the Message Status button (the little blue star
between the attachment paper clip icon and the subject header).

Yes, that's right. Message Status.

We found this by accident. When we contacted Microsoft about it, they
simply took that off the long list of problems we'd reported. I mean,
rather than -you know- acknowledging that this is just another
irritation that go to make E2004 immensely frustrating to use/admin...
