sent mails not shown in chronologic order after filing

Email Client: Exchange

After I file a sent message into a folder I have difficulties to find the message back. Now I found out that the sent files are not shown in chronologic order. Recent sent messages appear on the far bottom of the folder while they should end show at the top. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Make sure the messages are sorted by Sent rather than received. Open the
folder, then click on View>Arrange By and choose Sent. Once you've done
that, you can click on the label just above the e-mail list that reads
"Oldest on Top" to change it into "Newest on Top".
