Server based Address lists in Outlook/Entourage

Travis

Where I work uses PCs and Exchange Server. In Outlook, when I write a
new email, I can pull down from the server either my personal contact
list or the corporate contact list of all the employees and choose
those to whom I wish to send messages. With Entourage 2004, my personal
address list shows fine, whether I'm using Entourage or Outlook, but I
cannot access the list of emails for all the employees. Is there some
way to do this that anyone can suggest? It's the only Outlook feature
that I actually miss!

Thanks,
Travis

If the server is set up properly under the "Directory" tab of the Exchange
account settings and LDAP is enabled on the Exchange Server, you should be
able to search the directory by going to Tools > Directory Services. Some
users have found that in order for this to work, they need to open the
"Directory" tab of the Exchange account settings, click the "Advanced
options" button, and check the "My server requires me to log on" option.
When addressing a message, you should be able to click the "Check Names"
button in the Addressing pane and have Entourage query the directory server.
