This comes under the heading - 'Strange But True'.
Can anyone help me with this one ?
I'm trying to send email messages from Entourage via SMTP.
Sometimes, on sending the mail after composition using the 'Send Now' button, I get one of three error messages with Entourage being unable to "send" the email: -17099. -17900, -3259. Now, if I use the Command+K (Send and Receive All) command immediately afterwards the email goes off quite happily.
After some experimentation I have identified that this behaviour is only apparent using some email addresses from entries in the Entourage Address book. Substituting the email address, typing it by hand, removes the problem so it would appear that this is something to do with the entry in the Address Book.
I have tried rebuilding the database but this seems to make no difference. I have deleted the Daemon, run Keychain First Aid, repaired Permissions (and probably some other stuff). Other than re-entering all my contacts does anyone have any other ideas ?
Good wishes to all.
