Server Side Rules

P

Phillip Harris

Does anyone have any info on setting up Server Side Rules (Other than
using outlook on a PC) Seems to be a fundamental issue..

Another question/point is, to apply rules to messages in folders "On my
computer" seems to require the rules being set up under POP Mail, even
if no POP accounts exists..??? And this is because???

Has anyone had any luck copying rules from one "Account" to another??
Seems a hierarchical system whereby I could have global rules and
account specific rules would be good, or is this just foolish
hopefulness??

Anyone got the scoop on any Rules improvements in the (putting the last
touches on) new rev: coming out (supposidly) soon???

TIA

Maybe you can using Outlook Web Access, or Outlook for Windows on your Mac
via Remote Desktop Connection Client or Virtual PC.

That's true. I guess it is a little misleading.

Do you mean from one kind of account to another (POP > IMAP or News >
Hotmail, or something like that?). If so, no, it cannot be done. I suspect
this is because different actions and criteria are available for the
different types of accounts.

I haven't heard anything to indicate that it will improve rules. It could
happen, however.
