Set up a bookfold document 11 x 17 - is it possible in word?

I have created bookfold documents of smaller size (8.5 x 5.5) and now want to
make a new document 11" high and 17" wide in bookfold layout that would fold
to 8.5 wide. Is this possible in word 2003? Everytime I try to do page set
up, word automatically wants to fix the margins and makes them much larger
than I want and the print preview shows much of the text cut off. Help!

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried the instructions in the article,
however, it is much more cumberson than using the built-in booklet feature in
Word 2003. My duplexing printer does not accomodate 11 x 17 paper so this
will be going to a printer on a CD. (BTW, when I print 8.5 x 5.5 booklets, my
printer prints all 4 pages per sheet automatically in one pass through the
printer.) Again, my question is does the booklet feature in Word 2003
accomodate this size paper and if so, what do I need to do in set up to aviod
the automatic "fix margins". Thanks

Have you selected the driver for the printer that you will ultimately be
using? If you are using the driver for a printer that can't print 11" x 17",
then that would be your problem.
