I´m using Entourage X and have the following problem with Time Zone:

I can only choose three different "standard time zones" and none of them is
correct for me. I´ve got all the right settings in my System Preferences and
seem to be stuck. Can anyone help me?

I'm guessing by the .se in your e-mail address that you are in Sweden. The
"Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna" time zone in Entourage
should work for you.

The problem is that I don´t have that time zone as an option. I can only
choose from the following (all US/Canada):

Pacific
Mountain
Central

Annouying? Yes!

My version of Entourage is swedish by the way.

Can you have a look in your "HD/usr/share/zoneinfo" folder? You should have
a lot of folders in there, one of them named "Europe" should contain a
"Stockholm" file that should suit you. It seems that this(ese) file(s) must
have got lost or corrupted. I think you can copy them from another computer
running the same OSX version.

I can remember this once was given as a solution against a solution for the
"back to 1970" bug that came with 10.2.4. Though it didn't work, I have
tested it and it is possible to try it in your case. I think this was
happening after copying part of the "CD" startup settings (which are much
reduced) but couldn't be too sure, as this is now quite some time ago...

Entourage actually gets it timezone info from a timezones file in the office
folder. If you open it with a text editor you should see a long list of time
zone descriptions. It sounds like your file may somehow have been truncated.
You can try finding the file in your original install CD and copying it over
your truncated one.

Thank you! Changing the file solved the problem.
