Setting Entourage Appearance Defaults

I have one Entourage 2004 user who is frustrated because, in Outlook they
could set a default font color. Entourage 2004 allows a default font and
font size for either HTML or plain text. It then allows, if HTML, to select
a font color and background. But I can find no way to save the default text
color as a default.

Have others attempted to resolve this?

I tried the Message Template X script using Entourage 2004 with Panther.
This is a potentially useful tool. I was unable to modify my templates as
per the read me, once they were created. Odd things happen. But generally,
upon double clicking on the template in my local drafts folder, Editing, and
saving, the message would disappear from my drafts folder. Once that
happened, I had to replace the script to proceed with creating a new
template, even after following all of the instructions in the read me.

Is this script working for anyone else using Entourage 2004 and panther?

Have you tried emailing the author for support? Paul is usually very quick
to help users of his scripts.
