Setting news article expiration???

Hey,

I'm hoping someone can help me. How do you adjust the expiration of
news articles? I've got news articles still on my system from 9/25/04.
I clink the More button at the top to retrieve the article headers, but
they never leave and I can't figure out how to delete them. It's like
they never expire and I'm sure it's sucking up disk space - especially
the ones with attachments. They're useless too because if I click on
any of them that I haven't previously fully loaded on, I get a message
that there is no such article in the group. I assume that that's
because it expired on the server months ago.

You can only clear the newsgroup cache for all newsgroups on a given news
server. You can do so by Control-clicking the news server and then
selecting "Empty Cache" from the contextual menu.
