Hi,
Just for your information:
(1) Your hosting company: I guess you'd want a hosting company to do the
work unless you wish to start from the very beginning including buying all
hardware stuffs. In that case, you can consult existing hosting service
about what e-commerce components do they provide and any helps on that.
(2) Google search: You could use Google (or any other search engines for I
only use it as an example) to search for the books and hosting service (if
the current one does not meet your requirements). Try to search with key
words such as "e-commerce hosting" or "e-commerce books" and so on.
(3) Amazon: I personally like to use Amazon for searching books and also
buying from it. Again, I am nothing to do with the company except I found
it carries "a lot" of books and I generally like its service.
Finally, many books involving in the subjects are classified by
"technologies" or "programming languages" that you're going to use - such as
using the words ASP, ASP.Net, and so on. In that sense, you may need to
study or consult some experts about which programming languages (or
platform, or technologies) you wish to use before going to search for the
books and resources.
Of course, you could change your mind about those at any time before getting
into the very detailed works. But once you have committed to certain
platform or technologies, it's not so easy to change again.
Hope this helps.
