Setting up an account

I'm new to entourage and macs and am having difficulty setting up my e-
mail account. I'm on a G4 powermac running OSX.4.10 and entourage
10.0.0. and have an account with Tiscali broadband which i have been
using on my PC for a couple of years without difficulty.

I have gone through the set up and entered the correct details
(username, password etc.) but when i click on send/receive i get the
message "the server for account 'my name' returned the error "[AUTH]
invalid username or password". What am i doing wrong?

Can anyone please help?

You need to update Entourage to 10.1.9. You also need to apply the Daylight
Saving Time workaround. Office X is end of life and will no longer be
updated. This has caused problems with Hotmail accounts.

Delete the account in Entourage and delete the account info in Keychain
Access. Create account new. If you copy/paste don't include
spaces.

Send & Receive problems can be complex to solve, but generally these
solutions apply:

If you can receive but not send then you have a bad SMTP configuration
If you can send but not receive you have a bad POP or IMAP configuration
