Hi,

Please can you advise me how to change the following settings in Outlook;

1. When using 'Reply' and 'Forward', have the formatting set automatically
on 'HTML' not 'Plain text' as is the default setting.
2. I have changed my signature for new messages, but when using 'Reply' or
'Forward' my old signature still appears. How do I fix this?

Thanks for you help,

Martin.

Martin,

1. Tools>Options
Mail format tab.
Make sure it says HTML for Outgoing messages.

2. Tools>Options
Mail format tab
Signature section
Make sure for Signature for replies and forwards your new signature is
selected.

Regards,
Ash.

You'll always reply and forward in the message format received unless it is
overridden

Thanks for reply.

So I take it when replying to a 'Plain Text' email, there is no way of
keeping the original formatting of my signature? Can I override the rule in
reply and forward messages where it keeps the original formatting?

Thanks.

Martin.
