Setup Error 1405 in Office 2003

Finally got office installed, but everytime I run a program I get this error:
Error 1405. Setup cannot read the value TYPE2 from the registry key. Verify that
you have sufficient permissions to access the registry ....

In order to get it installed in the first place I had to user runas administrator. this shouldn't cause
problems because the account that I'm testing this in as admin priv...
any thoughts?

I am having a similar error, permissions for registry, but
can't even get the setup to complete. I go to the
registry editor and the register is greyed out. I don't
have any answers, but if you figure it out, please let me
know. Thanks.
