when I try to re-load office 2000, i get an error "setup.exe is not a win32
application".

Hi Franzini,

Check that the Setup.exe that is being run is the one
from the Office CD and not another one that is located
on your hard drive.

Use Windows explorer or Start=>Run to select the
setup.exe on the Office CD.
