Several questions - Entourage from Office 2001

Louise Stewart

I¹m on a Mac G4 and have Entourage from Office 2001. I have several
quandaries.

One is that anytime I send an attachment, particularly a jpg, to an AOL
user, they can NEVER open it. It arrives as a mime file and I have no idea
why. They email me back to please send them a jpg, but that¹s what I¹ve
already done. This is VERY frustrating. One fellow I do some business with
says I¹m the only person he ever has this problem with.

Second problem is that when I receive an email from someone where there¹s no
attachment, but there are photos and special typefaces within the email, if
I forward it, it arrives as just plain text with no photos. How can I
forward these so they arrive like I received them?

And third, I understand that you¹re supposed to be able to simply paste a
photo or graphic into the body of the email so it doesn¹t get sent as an
attachment, and I sometimes receive them that way (like in question 2
above), but I can¹t figure how to do that.

I¹m not very technical, so please make answers VERY simple. Thanks so much!

You do not need to ask on both the mailing list and the newsgroup, Louise.

I just sent a pretty full reply to the mailing list. An AOL expert (Adam?)
might like to chime in on the AOL part here or there.

Please "Reply To Newsgroup" to reply to this message. Emails will be
ignored.

PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using -
**2004**, X or 2001. It's often impossible to answer your questions
otherwise.
