Sharing Calendar Entries - no exchange - .mac account?

All,

I'm going to buy 2 macbooks in the next few days - one for me and one
for my business partner. We don't have a server, and will only have
these 2 macbooks.

I've posted a thread regarding the best way to handle emails (as we
have only 1 inbox and want to share ALL emails) - but I have a couple
of other small issues also.

It would be really useful if we could share calendars in entourage. ie.
Everything I put in mine - he gets a copy of, and vice versa. As we
don't have a server to share files, I was wondering what would be best?

I've done a goodle search and there doesn't seem to be anything that's
free that I can use so I was thinking about a .mac account? If we set
up 1 .mac account and shared the login details could we share the
calendar from our entourage through that?

any opinions are greatfully received.

A great way to go would be a hosted Exchange or Exchange-like environment.
One example is Big Mountain Web Hosting <http://www.bigmountaindesign.com>,
who offers Kerio MailServer hosting. MailServer is an Exchange work-alike
that I've had great luck with when using Entourage as the client app.

It's only $5 per mailbox per month, and you'd have all of the collaboration
features currently supported in Entourage.
