Sharing contacts and calendar

I have a customer that would like to have a central Entourage data base for
contact and calendar sharing. All users are running Office X and Entourage.
The only option I can think of is an Exchange server. Doeas anyone have any
suggestions?

If they all upgrade to Entourage 2004, they can use a shared project and
they don't need to buy a server.
