Sharing violation error message

Hi,

I am running office 2003 on a Windows XP Pro computer. When I save my excel
file, I get the following error message: "The document was saved
successfully, but Excel cannot re-open it because of a sharing violation.
Please close the document and try to open it again."

I have checked and I do not have this document opened twice and no one else
on the network does.

Any help or suggestion on how to get around this will be appreciated.
