Shortcuts not working in Entourage after Office 2004 update

I'm running Office 2004 on a 12" PB - 1 Ghz - 768MB RAM - 10.3.5

Since I installed the Office 2004 SP1 update I can't use some simple
shortcuts in Entourage - examples are: -

'delete' - (using Apple + delete) won't work to delete emails or
calender events. I have to go in to 'Edit' and select 'delete'

'Create New' - can't use Apple + N to create anything (i.e. messages
or events)


When I do use these shortcuts, e.g. when I hit Apple + N - the Edit
menu title briefly highlights (so it's recognising something)- but
nothing happens

Would appreciate any ideas/help

Loss of keyboard shortcuts is an issue that seems to have affected a small
minority of users. Usually, restarting entourage will fix the problem.

calender events. I have to go in to 'Edit' and select 'delete'

You shouldn't be using the command key - just the delete key on its own

It didn't even occur to me that I hadn't restarted Entourage for days
- shortcuts are back!
