Show Reminder in My Day

Is there a preference or script to make calendar reminders automatically show up in My Day? This would be very useful.

Not sure what you are asking for here. Reminders (alarms) show up in the
notification window normally. You can't really add this to myday. Or did
you mean you wanted events showing in myDay to indicate whether or not a
reminder was set for that event? This is not possible either.

Please send feedback to Microsoft on this. Use the 'Send Feedback' item
under the 'Help' menu in any Office application. The more people that
request such a feature the more likely it is to be implemented.

Clarification to original question:

Instead of reminders showing up in a separate notification window, it would be useful to select a preference to have them appear in My Day — *instead* of the separate window.

I'll request this feature. Actually the preference settings for My Day and Calendar Reminders seem rather insufficient. I'm really depending on My Day now that I've started using it.
