Show Select combobox value on each NEXT record

Trying to get a combobox to display the appropriate value each time a user
navigates to a record with the navigation buttons.
The combobox is unbound, and the onchange event is used to update the
CustomerID field on a main form. The CustomerID has a link parent/child
relationship that works great to update the contents of a subform.

The problem is that the combobox does not update to match the customerID
with each record. How would this be done. The combobox has three columns,
0=CustomerID, 1=Company, 2=contact.
